The Role
Working closely with the Team Rector and staff team, you will administer the day-to-day operations of the parish — ensuring our ministries are efficiently run, well-resourced, and effectively scheduled. You’ll be a vital part of the staff team, helping us implement our vision and enabling people to use their gifts to help the church thrive and grow. You will also be a welcoming face and voice of the church to our wider community in Bedworth.
As this is a role within a Christian organisation, the post-holder will be expected to share our beliefs, join in the spiritual life of the church, lead morning prayer, and offer a pastoral and Christian response to everybody who visits.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Leadership Support

Supporting parish ministries to be efficient, well-resourced and well-organised

Coordinating day-to-day activity across the parish

Helping implement technology that supports effective working and communication
Office & Administration

Maintaining parish records and registers, and making Diocesan returns

Financial administration, including oversight of payroll, invoicing and banking

Managing keys, hires, supplies, and compliance documentation (insurance, inspections, utilities)
Communication & Publicity

Producing weekly emails, notices and orders of service

Maintaining the parish directory (ChurchSuite) and website

Engaging the parish community across social media
Events & Fundraising

Coordinating practical arrangements for events and services

Supporting fundraising activities for specific projects and general church funds

Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritise

Strong written and verbal communication

Confidence to work on your own initiative, with sound judgement and discretion

IT proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

Key Facts
Hours - 20 hours/week (flexible, with some evening or weekend meetings)
Location - All Saints Church Office, CV12 8NH (flexible working considered)
Salary - £13.45/hour — £13,988 gross p.a. (FTE equivalent £24,479)
Holiday - 5 weeks pro-rata (14 days)
Pension - Stakeholder scheme available after 3 months’ continuous service
Probation - 6 months, with a review at 3 months
Accountable to The Team Rector, Bedworth Parish
Employed by The Parochial Church Council of Bedworth Parish
