Growing Faith Families Worker
This exciting school and church-based role, is part of a wider Growing Faith Project across Bedworth Parish and our neighbouring parishes of Bulkington and Exhall. Generously funded by local charitable trust, the Nicholas Chamberlaine Schools Foundation, the projects overarching vision is to reach children and their families across the spheres of home, church and school to explore and grow in the Christian faith.

Are you passionate about nurturing faith and spirituality in children, families, and schools?
We are seeking a Growing Faith Families Worker to pioneer and lead new initiatives that bring faith to life within All Saints Bedworth C of E Academy and the wider community, and foster strong faith partnerships with All Saints Church.

This exciting role will help shape opportunities for children and families to encounter the Christian faith, deepen spirituality, and contribute to the Academy’s vision: “To learn and grow together to be the best that we can be.”

Key Details:

Start Date: June 2026

Hours: 24 hours per week, including Sundays and after-school activities, with occasional evening commitments.

Salary: £16,848 pro rata (£24,570 FTE based on a 35-hour week).

Contract: Permanent.

Location: Based at All Saints Bedworth C of E Academy and All Saints Church.

Key Responsibilities:
-
Develop projects that enable children and families to explore faith and spirituality.

Support the Academy in creating opportunities for pupils to plan and lead collective worship, including singing.

Help embed the Academy’s vision and develop spaces for spirituality within the school community.

Build a new worshipping community at All Saints Bedworth C of E Academy.

Work closely with the school’s Inclusion Team to support vulnerable pupils and families.

Equip staff, pupils, and volunteers with confidence to nurture faith and spiritual growth.

This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check and has an Occupational Requirement for the postholder to be a practicing Christian under the Equality Act 2010. The post holder should have experience of working with youth/children’s work in a paid or voluntary capacity, experience of supporting families, excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with a variety of audiences, including children, parents, teachers and governing bodies.
