Our Wider Mission

Below are some of the organisations, people and ministries we support.

Bedworth Foodbank

Picture
All Saints supports the Bedworth Foodbank in two ways. Firstly, we make financial donations towards the cost of running a Foodbank in the town and secondly, we are a Collection Point where church members and local townspeople can leave food and toiletries which we donate to the Foodbank. The Foodbank continues to issue three-day emergency parcels to local people in times of crisis.

CPAS

CPAS enables churches in the UK and Ireland to help every person hear the good news of Jesus. It aims to develop local leaders through courses, books and resources. They rely on the generous support of churches and individuals to develop the work amongst adults both lay and ordained and with children and young people.

Janette and Rick Brown

All Saints supports Rick and Janette Brown who work with Agape in France. They have several different ministry responsibilities. Together they work in Agape Famille helping Christian and non-Christian couples to enrich their marriage and develop parenting skills. Janette works in the finance and human resources team.

TABS International

What we have achieved to date has been amazing, we have focused much of our efforts in one particular slum called Kiandutu in Thika. We have developed a school that now has 400 children and growing year on year. Not only are children being educated for the first time but every child receives a free school lunch – crucial for families who are living on the bread line and whose children often go hungry.

We have also worked with our Kenyan partners to register a sister charity to TABS International. TABS Kenya now has Kenyan trustees registered as a Kenyan charity. TABS Kenya lead on taking forward our vision for TABS in Kenya, expanding the work and developing new partnerships. We feel it’s vital to be working through people on the ground, living in the communities we are supporting. This ensures that whatever we develop is really meeting the needs of those communities.

Tim Curtis

At All Saints’ we have been supporting by prayer and regular giving the work of Tim Curtis with the Church Missionary Society in Paraguay, South America; who was introduced to us in the 1980’s by Rev. Tong. Tim has led a team starting in 1992, who translated the complete Bible into Enxet (pronounced Enclet) the local language of the Chaco region; which was finally published and launched in 2016. He now focusses on developing and promoting the use of Bible study materials and supporting local churches and pastors across the Chaco. Tim outside the new offices in Rio Verde used for teaching local pastors amongst other activities.
