Key Objectives:
​

The Worship and Youth Apprenticeship Program at All Saints Church is designed to develop the next generation of church leaders by offering hands-on training in worship, youth ministry, and church leadership. Running from September 2025 to July 2026, the program combines practical ministry experience with structured spiritual formation and professional music production training.

As an apprentice, you’ll play an active role in leading youth activities and serving with the worship team, while also receiving tailored mentorship and training that reflects your unique skills and calling.

 

Key Areas of Responsibility:

Worship Ministry (10 hours/week + Sundays)

  • Team Participation: Serve regularly on the worship team, contributing musically and spiritually to the life of the church.

  • Leadership Development: Grow in worship leading, team coordination, and church leadership in partnership with the Worship Pastor.

  • Admin Support: Assist in weekly planning, scheduling, and communications related to worship ministry.

 

Youth Ministry (15 hours/week)

  • Program Involvement: Support the weekly youth group and other youth-related initiatives within the church and local schools.

  • Creative Engagement: Design and lead activities that reflect your personal gifts (e.g. dance, theatre, music) to creatively engage young people.

  • Relational Discipleship: Build strong relationships with young people and support their spiritual growth through consistent presence and mentoring.

  • Community Integration: Participate in outreach and engagement opportunities within the local community.​​

 

Sunday Ministry (3 hours/week)

  • Service Support: Serve on the worship team according to the weekly rota.

  • Musical & Spiritual Leadership: Grow in confidence as a worship leader and in supporting the flow of Sunday services.

 

Music Production Training (7.5 hours/week)

  • Professional Training: Receive hands-on studio instruction in music production from a professional music producer.

  • Creative Development: Learn technical skills in audio recording, production, and arrangement to enhance your contribution to worship ministry.

 

Person Specification:
​
  • A committed follower of Jesus, growing in faith and character

  • A heart for worship, youth, and local church mission

  • Passionate about discipling young people and leading others in worship

  • Musically skilled and comfortable with live performance (instrument and/or vocals)

  • Interest in or experience with music production is desirable

  • Willing to serve flexibly across a wide range of church activities

  • Teachable, self-motivated, and open to feedback

  • Able to work evenings and weekends as needed

  • A genuine desire to grow spiritually, personally, and in leadership

 

Working Requirements:

  • Contract: 11-month apprenticeship (September 2025 – July 2026)

  • Hours: 32.5 hours per week

    • 25 hours of ministry placement

    • 7.5 hours of music production training

  • Compensation: Apprentice wage of £7.55/hour (for 25 paid hours/week)

  • Location: Based at All Saints Church, with community and event involvement across various venues

  • Additional Opportunities: Participation in conferences, Christian events, and church retreats
