Welcome to this year’s gift day. It is the first time that we are holding a gift day for both All Saints and St. Andrews at the same time. There is much we as a church family can give thanks for over the last year. Some of the things that spring to mind for myself include;
I am sure you can think of many others. It has been a busy year as new initiatives have grown and others like Good Neighbours have born wonderful fruit. As a team we are grateful for the support many have given. It has been so encouraging to see the Holy Spirit at work and to hear testimonies of supernatural acts of healing and freedom.
Remember this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.
Our gift day is our chance to say thank you to God for the year that has been and to invest into the year ahead. Your gift this year will help enable the following to happen at All Saints;
And at St. Andrews
These are certainly exciting and challenging times for us as a church. We want to be a church that grows and develops, that is known as the place to go to encounter the good news of Jesus. Thank you in advance for prayerfully considering your gift to All Saints and St. Andrews this year.
- The growth in number and people attending our services.
- Great youth work growing right across the parish,
- Thriving Alpha courses which are leading people to deciding to follow Jesus
- The vast amount of cake we seem to manage to consume as a parish

Our gift day is our chance to say thank you to God for the year that has been and to invest into the year ahead. Your gift this year will help enable the following to happen at All Saints;
- Replace the carpet in the food serving area with flooring suitable for all the hospitality that happens. The approximate costs of this is £4300 +vat
- To improve the lighting by giving more flexibility for all the different service that happen and to reduce our energy bills
- To undertake the repairs to the external stonework identified in our recent inspection.
And at St. Andrews
- Restart the Youthwork with paid sessional youth workers
- To kit out with appropriate furniture and lighting the prayer and small group room
- To undertake the repairs to the fabric of the building
