Good Neighbours Bedworth is a new project to provide friendship and community to our local over 50s.
The aim is to reduce the loneliness felt by the elderly and isolated people of Bedworth with the help of local volunteers. A matched friendly, local volunteer will spend approximately an hour a week building up a friendship with someone who has similar interests or life experiences. Could you be a Good Neighbours Bedworth volunteer? To find out more about being a volunteer email Jackie Kemp or visit the Good Neighbours Facebook Page. Good Neighbours Bedworth is founded by Bedworth Parish church, with the support of the charity HOPE Coventry, using elements from the Good Neighbours Coventry (founded 2016) befriending model. All Saints supports the Bedworth Foodbank in two ways. Firstly, we make financial donations towards the cost of running a Foodbank in the town. Secondly, we are a Collection Point where church members and local townspeople can leave food and toiletries which we donate to the Foodbank. The Foodbank continues to issue three-day emergency parcels to local people in times of crisis.
