This week, Rev Ann talks to us about what James writes in his letter about the wisdom that we can ask God for, and how it might change our lives.

A bit more helpful and challenging advice from the book of James, chapter 3 this week about how we use our tongues! 
Our tongue has the power to make others feel happy, encouraged and loved but it can also cause a lot of trouble for us if we aren't careful about how we use it and our words.

Nicola explores this with us this week and there are some energetic songs for you to dance along to together at home too. 

Challenge: can you think of positive words for each letter of the name of someone in your house? Things you think they are good at? Things about them that you love? Why not share those words with eachother this week to build each other up!
 

We are starting a new teaching series on the book of James. This week as a church we are thinking about how trails and struggles and how to live well through them. Our bible verse comes from James chapter 1.

Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.

Kay helps us thinking about this verse and there are a couple of worship videos for you to join in with as well. There is also a colour sheet to download if you wish.

Can you imagine an angel appearing to you to tell you, that despite being a young, unmarried girl, you were chosen to be the mother of God's son?!
Well, this week we explore what it might have felt like for Mary to be chosen for this super important job and to say 'yes!' to God and put her trust wholly in God's plan for her.
We see our lovely Kay in a way that, perhaps you've not seen before.
